They favored those that could sell rather than the company as a whole. The people are nice, but I didn't really like management because they were very critical. It's extremely hard to sell during COVID, and in my opinion it's better to just work minimum wage getting a consistent pay than work to achieve a higher pay at this moment. In addition to this, if you don't make sales for the week because it's rough, you don't receive your base-pay. The managers don't really train associates correctly, and they do not explain that in order to receive commission you must exceed your base-pay for the week. With COVID happening, I don't recommend this job because a lot of them do not follow the COVID guidelines which is concerning. You're going to be carrying out marketing by talking to people in the street asking them to invest in your company. State of Mind is okay to work at it seems fun on the surface, but it's a sales job so you have to make sales. If you're going to work here must work hard and be confident in your self. I think on your first day you get $100 if you don't sell anything. It's commission based sales so if you don't sell you won't make money. Dress professional or business casual and make sure you wear comfortable shoes because you are gonna be walking outside. There's also a review at the end of the day with your co workers to reflect on your pros and cons of the day. At the end of the day, you come back to the office for settle up and report your sales for the day and your money that you made. So for example, 10 bags sold = $100 for the day.
Each bag retails for $20 on the street, you get back $10 in commission. Then after that for the majority of the day I would say from 10 am - 4 pm you're going to be outside "hitting the field" selling promotional bags for the company. A typical day at work is coming in for morning meeting and partnering with your co worker to practice sales or other people skills, eating breakfast and chilling with everyone for an hour.
